We are excited to announce a seminar to bring the experience of one of the most active mountain rescue helicopter units in the world to our province.

We will spend the week of 11 th to the 15 th of April 2011 sharing experiences and expanding our rescue capability by incorporating techniques that Air Zurmatt from Switzerland has developed over the years.

This will enhance the already excellent service the team provides to the people of the South Africa and its visitors.  The outline of the seminar is here.  In particular the venues may be adjusted as we finalise the program.

Unfortunately, the course has seen an overwhelming response for participants and we can not accommodate any more people.  People who wish to observe the training can contact this site administrator to confirm the venue for each day prior to the exercise.
